Saint Joris weekend- sunday
We woke up, got dressed and had breakfast. Then we played and had a final game of sucking which I won. This is when you put a long sweet in your mouth and race to see who can suck it up the fastest. After that the parents came for lunch and we had a minute silence for Bart. I had soup and 3 bread with nutella. I thought the weekend was really different to our usual schedule. I enjoyed it, especially the sucking race.
Thursday
We went to the Spinnen(Spider) Museum. First, we had a tour. There were lots of different of spiders. I saw one catch it's prey. I also saw one drinking water. We also saw a scorpion. Then I held a bird spider in my hand. It's little legs stuck to my hand and felt funny. The spider trip was really short though and it was a shame to end after only an hour. I had lunch and then it was the walk back to school.

Tuesday
Activity week (AW) is a week for all the children who don't go on skii camp. On every day of the week there is something different.
My sister Tamara came to help out on the trip. The visit to the Prehistoric village was one of my personal favourite trips. It was a long cold walk so we stopped off for a break. First we had a tour of the village, the graveyard, church and numerous houses. Then we really had an experience of the 1500s. There were 6 activities: making a chisel with the blacksmith, the necklace making, making coins, making a leather pouch and carving a model from sandstone. I liked making the chisel the best because it was something that I could do easily.
That was just Monday... Check out my other blogs of class 7WM and 7BK or read a description of my classmates and lessons.
